Tea Enthusiast

I believe in the healing power of nature and herbs, and you’ll often find me in my little herb garden, where I cultivate fragrant plants. And if we meet for a cup of tea, I’ll recommend for us one of my favorite blends!

My Story

Why I do, What I do…

2009-2010

MY COMFORT ZONE:

Disabled. Debt. Divorce.

Learning how to walk and eat again after a 4 year disability, my husband racked up debt, left the country, and cheated, while I was pregnant. I miscarried due to the stress of our sudden separation with no income and health insurance.

2011

MY ABUNDANT LIFE VISION:

Women’s Biz Coop Idea

After being laid off from a change in management at my coach training institute, the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and asking my parents and ex to help me financially, they refused; thus, I envisioned a safe space, where people turn for help, support, guidance and inspiration during life transitions.

2009-2015

OVERCOMING MY FAILS:

Process ~ Secrets of 10%

Asian Women’s Leadership Program

On the beach praying for what is next, I am asked to create an Asian women’s leadership program, after 3 previous leaders quit. Starting in Denver, I rebrand and market it in San Francisco expanding across North America in 10 metropolian cities. Due its sucess, I become one of the “Top 25 Asian Americans” to follow on Twitter and one of the “Top Woman Innovators” by the U.S. Department of Labor, and “Woman Visionary Leaders” in India.

STEPPING INTO MY ABUNDANT LIFE:

A shy, quiet, reluctant and reclusive leader, I pursued my passion, clarified my purpose, and discovered my process. I recruited an international team, wrote about Yang and Yin leadership styles in Secrets of 10% based on Sun Tzu’s Art of War, taught at workshops, organized a leader briefing at the U.S. White House, and emceed international conferences, and landed Macy’s as the largest organizational sponsor.

2011-2014

MY GROWTH ZONE:

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

Nominated to that National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE) at the Department of Commerce by my supervisor at Small Business Administration, I provided direct technical assistance to the public consulting over 1,000 women a year.

2015

2015-2018

MY OMG RIPPLE RESULTS:

Passion ~ Start My Business Today

After teaching night classes at the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy at the University of the Arts, I record the first class of Start My Business Today at Impact Hub, becoming an “Ambassador” for international co-working.

As a community activist, organizer, and liaison, I was appointed by the Mayor of Philadelphia to the Mayor’s Commission on Asian American Affairs (MCAAA) and become the Chair of Engagement and Outreach. I also write for Forbes.com, speak at UN Women and the World Bank.

2019-2023

MY GROWTH ZONE:

Purpose ~ BizDeva

From WBC Expansion to the pandemic, our national Imagine Team from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Anchorage, Alaska to Honolulu, Hawaii is hired in 2019 and steps down in 2020.

In my first documentary, I’m in “Impact: Every Body Has Superpowers” backed by the team behind “The Secret” and “What the Bleep Do We Know.” Impact was nominated for 12 international film festivals and won 6 awards, including “Best Picture” & “Best Director” at New York Film Awards in 2020.

Appointed by the Mayor of Philadelphia, I serve on the Rebuild Oversight Committee to ensure 35% set-aside goals for women and minority-owned business participation in $500 million reconstruction of parks, libraries and schools. Additionally, I serve on the Strategic Advisory Committee for the American Heart Association.

Writing, piloting and testing new curriculum for Start My Business Today after launch, I design and develop BizDeva: 11 Universal Laws for Brand, Marketing and Sales through the Yin Power Way in 2021-2023.

2022-2023

MY MIRACLE ZONE:

Prosperity ~ Chief Strat Officer

After we redesign and develop our Women’s Biz Coop 15 websites, I revamp our brand, marketing and sales funnels.

Solidifying BizDeva with our editor, I envision my new abundant life vision, my passion, purpose, process and prosperity for leadership and entrepreneurship in the New Power Paradigm. Updating all our Membership, Products, Assessments and Strategic Plans in Chief Strat Officer: Strategic Planning Made Easy, Coaching and Experiences.
